One rail, end to end
What the Common Rail does
From the first phone call to the paid invoice. Safe for software to act on.
The Common Rail runs a make-or-fix business end to end: the floor, the work, the money, the paperwork. It is also the layer that lets software act in that business with a scope you set, a proposal you approve and an audit trail you can read.
What it does today
Your floor, live
Draw the building once. Every machine, panel, air drop and door becomes a record with a QR tag, a history and a status lamp fed from the control itself.
Three taps to a work order
A request from the public page, the customer portal or a scan on the machine lands on the board, gets a tech, gets scheduled, gets invoiced.
Inspections and compliance
Press checks, lift and crane inspections, PM schedules, certificates: run them on a phone, file them forever, see what is due on a calendar.
Machines that talk
Controls report run state, alarms and part counts through one small box on your network. No cloud account per machine.
Assistants you approve
Give an agent a scoped key and a rule. It drafts the quote, proposes the dispatch, writes the reply. Nothing leaves the building until you say so.
Yours to shape
Tiles in a plain spec language, automations in JSON, whole modules from a CLI. Connect Claude Code and start building on day one.
The control rail
How an agent is allowed to act
Five words, in order. Nothing skips a step and nothing is ever deleted.
1. Scope
A key carries an explicit list of what it may read and do. The org comes from the key, never from the request.
2. Propose
The agent writes what it wants to do as a row, in plain language, before anything happens.
3. Approve
A person reads it, edits it if it is not quite right, and approves or rejects with a reason.
4. Execute
Only then does the write land, inside limits on how often and how much.
5. Audit
Trigger, proposal, result, who approved it and when. Kept forever, readable by you.

One write today, sending a program to a machine. Everything else the rail does at the machine is read.
